Meltdown.

Facebook, the global leader in online privacy protection, is working on an upgrade to their privacy options that will require the new Facebook Privacy Control Center® to be installed in every user's home. At this time the planned array of privacy options will require approximately 5000 sq. ft. of controls, dials, notebooks, drink holders, and several monitors. Facebook is working around the clock to integrate the use of microchip technology which should reduce the footprint to the size of a Buick Electra by late fall of 2014.

Ah, an improvement on the older model, seen here: http://www.hoax-slayer.com/1954-computer-image.html

David, from what I understand people didn't like the helm placed in front of the keyboard, the ergonomics were horrible.

The most important innovation, from my point of view, is requiring the user to enter the 1024-bit encryption key for personal privacy settings each time a change is made. This of course prevents unauthorized modification of privacy data.

My only real grip is that it must be entered in octal.

THX1138 Scene 58. CONTROL CENTER

A row of observers sit at their monitors, as a control officer, ELC 3433 (dressed in yellow), enters the room. He walks over to one of the observers and is handed a stack of report tapes. He take the reports to his desk and begins to listen to them. The control center seems relatively calm.
