Just so you know, neither a huge flat 360 (and I mean honkin' huge) nor a backflip-Superman-seatgrab-Indian-air-combo will bring home gold at least not anymore. To win these days you must now perform a seat grab/body varial 360.
To do this take the 45-foot super kicker, not the short ramp because you're going to need the hang time. Once in the air move into a simple seat grab but then spin your body 360 degrees keeping parallel to the ground rushing below you. On successful completion of your spin, grab the bike and pull yourself back on the seat as you will have only a few nanoseconds to land the trick properly.
With proper speed and kick off the ramp you should have about three seconds to perform this.

One more time, in English.
Some friends of mine and I just happened to see this last night (the restaurant we were at just happened to be tuned in) and were absolutely floored. I'm not a huge X-Games fan, but even I knew enough to be very, very impressed.
what about the insanity of Danny Way's 9-story tall Mega Ramp...on a freakin' skateboard?
What day are they using that ramp? I don't want to miss that if I haven't already.
I'm scared... I understood that...
I need to get out less.
Those guys are crazy. But the tricks they do are really cool.
And THAT is why you should ALWAYS wear clean underwear.
Those people are nuts! N-V-T-S nuts!
I watch movies and get frustrated that so many stunts are computer enhanced and over the top.
Now I watch reality and wonder if they have finally perfected computer enhancement and I just can't tell anymore.
I am losing my grasp on reality.
Do you mean milk does a body good?
Ironic, coming from the world's safest website.
What about the guy that dislocated his shoulder -- twice -- in the "dirtbike high jump"? (I can't remember their name for it now.) He ended up taking second, and not because he dropped out after the second time they reinserted his shoulder...
I didn't understand what all the hype was about, then I saw it on TV and had to pick my jaw up off the floor. I tried explaining it to my girl to no avail, then finally for her to see it late at night sometime this weekend - she was floored to. It was some crazy Matrix style crazy twisting that just has to be seen to be believed.
And how about that big air skateboard stuff? Woo.
